Doug is a great person if you are looking for someone for your plumbing jobs. Pricing is reasonable, doesn’t try to over sell anything. Explain each work task patiently and will walk you through everything that is being done. Will go above and beyond to give you a quality service. Just finished our Poly B plumbing replacement job and got the city inspection done without any hassle.

Contacted Doug to replace poly-b piping in our finished basement, replace a leaking tub/shower control, and a seized shutoff valve. He arrived exactly when he said he would, and because I was not able to be present, he explained everything he was doing to my wife, who raved about his patience, professionalism and kindness.
When I got home after the job was complete, I found that everything we had discussed was done, and looked impeccable.
We are definitely keeping Doug's contact info close at hand for any future plumbing needs, and would heartily recommend his services to friends and family.

I had a great experience with Townsan Plumbing and Heating. Doug originally came out to install a new water recirculation line in my home so I no longer had to wait for hot water on the upper floor. He did a fantastic job the work was clean, efficient, and professionally completed.

In addition, I later had Doug come back to inspect my boiler, which had not been working properly for quite some time. The original installing company had made several attempts but failed to identify the issue. Doug quickly diagnosed a failed gas heat exchanger that was leaking natural gas into my home a serious safety risk that had previously been missed. He immediately shut the boiler down and helped facilitate a fast warranty replacement, even though he was not the original installer or servicing contractor.

Doug’s diligence not only protected my family’s safety but also saved me over $5,000 through warranty coverage and restored our hot water quickly. I don’t typically leave positive reviews for contractors, but Doug is absolutely someone you want in your contact book. I highly recommend him
